X-Ray Inspection Pharmaceutical Applications
The Scantrac x-ray inspection systems are able to give you and your customers the security of knowing that all your production in the market place has been properly inspected and is complete with the required components and free from dangerous contaminants. Reducing your consumer complaints and protecting against potentially damaging litigation.Typical applications include (but are not limited to) one or more of the following inspections:
- Missing components (verification of instructions, needles, other components.)
- Contaminant - metal, glass, rock, bones, and other foreign matter
- Fill level - product fill height
- Void - Void - missing or partial caplets or components, air pockets
- Density - product weight of individual components
The experience of current customers is that they are finding contaminants that they did not expect to find in their products. Customers are alerted to contaminants in their raw products which has allowed them to work with their suppliers to correct the problems.
